Purpose

yLnk performs destination URL preflight checks to verify that a submitted URL is reachable before creating short links, QR links, or campaign links. These checks improve reliability and reduce invalid link submissions.

Request Behavior

• Method: HEAD first, then GET fallback when needed.
• Redirect handling: multi-hop redirect checks with loop protection.
• Timeout: short timeout window for quick validation.
• Scope: URL reachability and response integrity checks only.
